GAF 8×8″ Show Award Winner!

I’m proud to announce that I will be the recipient of a Gargiulo Art Foundation Purchase Award, as well as a space in a Gargiulo Art Foundation four-man show in 2020! These will be awarded at the opening of the Anything Goes! show at the Flagler County Art League, on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:30pm.

Last month, the Gargiulo Art Foundation held an 8×8″ Show at the Flagler County Art League. Special rules for the show included a size limitation of 8″ x 8″, no matting or frame, and all entries had to be marked for sale at $50 each. Prizes included 10 purchase awards, meaning that the foundation intended to purchase 10 pieces for its collection. Furthermore, entrants had a chance of winning a place in an upcoming four-person show.

I entered two pieces – “Tucker” and “Promises You Don’t Intend to Keep”. “Tucker” was purchased by the foundation, and I’ve been informed that I’ve also been awarded a place in the 2020 four-person show.

I’m so excited and proud to have this opportunity!
