The Sims 3 is another old-school favorite. It combined the best of the Sims 1 & 2 with extended graphics, and a mood system that enabled you to get special “experience” which could be used to give your Sims perks to make their lives easier. Although the Sims 4 has been out for quite some time, I have no intention of switching up – unless they want me to review the game and plan to offer me a free copy to do-so. As with all Sims releases, the Sims 4 is plagued by errors and doubts, and it’s always best to wait a good long while before upgrading.
Meanwhile, I’ve been following the Sims 3 Daily Deal Stalkers, and the various plans for getting as much Sims 3 content on-the-cheap as I can manage. With the release of the Sims 4 being years in the past, it’s anyone’s guess how long it will be before they actually close the store site. I’m hoping to get up some blog posts about how the Daily Deal and purchase cascades work, so that other people can benefit from what I find out. (PS – you can look for me on the Sims 3 forums as “Netjera”.)
